What Can We Say That Isn’t Cliché?

“It went so fast”, “We can’t believe it’s almost over”, “This has been a HUGE change in our lives”, “It was hard but completely worth it”, “We are so grateful for the opportunity” “We hope we win the $10,000 but in reality - we’ve already won”, “Our coach ROCKED!” They all sound cliché but they are all so true.

We know it is the end of Project Money but it really feels like a beginning. Maybe it’s the fact that it is coming up to New Year’s Eve. We naturally look back at our year, reflect and start to make resolutions for the upcoming year. We know that the extra-hyper awareness of this project helped us stay on track and having a 1 in 4 chance of winning a huge prize was extremely motivating. Even though that phase is going to be over soon we really feel like we are starting a new chapter.

Now we are able to see the big picture and we are able to move forward. There is something about the shift that has been made in our lives. It seemed that when we were bogged down – we just kept getting more and more loaded on top. Now that we have a little more breathing room, we have a backup savings, we have a plan and a budget it seems that the momentum is pulling us forward and things are getting easier and more opportunities are coming our way.

We have reached most of our goals and have made steps in the right direction for the rest. Are we done? No. Are we perfect? Not a chance. Are we doing a million times better than last year at this time? You bet.

We would like to say thank you to everyone at Summit, Channel 27 and JRP. Everyone involved with Project Money was great! Thanks to Tania, Amy, Jenna and all the people behind the scenes, too.

Our family and friends were supportive and super helpful. We thank you!

Love,
Team Robertson – Dan, Sheila and Max
