The Robertson's are Just Beginning

The year is winding down. My landscaping season came to a halt this week. Project Money is almost over. Although these things are ending, the Robertson's are just beginning. At the beginning of the year we had hit several roadblocks. Financially we were stuck in a rut. We didn't have any money to do anything fun, couldn't keep up with home or auto repairs, and Sheila and I didn't feel like we could afford buying presents for each other for Christmas.

Then Project Money came along and things really started to change for us. I feel confident going into the winter with 2 reliable cars. A big relief for us since we live so far out in the country and spend a lot of time driving. We were able to put a new roof on the house this summer. No more leaks! We took not 1 but 2 family vacations this year. We hadn't taken one since Max was born 5 years ago.

These are just a few things that have changed for us since Project Money became a part of our lives. We are going into the New Year with high aspirations. Looking forward to paying down a lot more debt, future home improvement projects, and another fun vacation. With added income from several sources this month we are looking to finish the contest strong. Hopefully leading to a big payday in February.
