A little about Mike
Meet Mike. Chief Retail Officer. Second year as a Project Money coach. Basketball official. Board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
In his spare time: Officiating high school and college basketball, biking, yard work
First paying job: A paper route when he was in 6th grade.
What interesting item he keeps in his wallet: No clutter here – Mike keeps nothing more than he has to in his wallet.
Favorite movie(s): The Green Mile and Top Gun
Favorite childhood TV show: Gilligan’s Island
Quirkiest habit: He reads the newspaper in the same order everyday – entertainment, news, then sports.
Best financial tip: Don’t try to keep up with the “Joneses.”
What he’d do with $10K: Put $8K toward paying off car and home loan debts; put $1K to his family vacation fund; provide $500 plus to a charity to pay it forward.
Building on his extensive experience in financial planning, as well as his energetic spirit and enthusiasm, Mike is guiding Brian and Rachel through this financial journey.
